Pacific Pantry

Pacific Pantry is a Choice Food Pantry housed at the FRC of the Redwoods for income eligible City of Crescent City and Del Norte County residents. 

 

Pantry Hours:

Thursdays 2pm-6pm

Fridays 2pm-4pm

First and Third Saturdays

11am-1pm

Other FRC Programs

​

  • Ages and Stages– Developmental Screening Tool for parents and caregivers to give to children ages 0-5

​

  • Awaiting Arrivals– In partnership with Sutter Health, a six week prenatal class designed to answer questions and  connect new parents with other families.

​

  • Breastfeeding Support Groups– The Del Norte County Breastfeeding Coalition hosts a weekly support group for all breastfeeding mothers, facilitated by a lactation                     educator, to support breastfeeding mothers.

​

  • Community Events– Community Baby Shower, Father  Appreciation Day, May Day Play Day, Craft Days, and many more FREE outreach events for the community.

​

  • Community Food Council- The DNATL Community Food Council is a group of individual residents and agency representatives who are working together to build a local food system that provides healthy, culturally appropriate food to all families in Del Norte and Tribal Lands (DNATL).

​

  • Dedicated Dads– A Father Focused support program       bringing fathers together for workshops, classes, and more.

​

  • Family Game Night– Families are invited to spend quality time together, meet new friends, and enjoy board games together.

​

  • Happy Toes– A Music and Movement enrichment program that includes dance, balance, singing songs, and exploring musical rhythms.

​

  • Lunch with the Law– A Community Outreach program inviting community members to discuss current issues with local law enforcement over the lunch hour.

​

  • Pacific Pantry– Choice Food Pantry for income eligible City of Crescent City and Del Norte County residents.

​

  • Parent Café- Parent Cafés engage parents in meaningful conversations about what matters most – their family and how to strengthen that family. Parent Cafés are focused on building the  Five Protective Factors.

​

  • Parent Education– Workshops and Classes to further education around nutrition, healthy living, & parenting skills.

​

  • Parenting Now! Play Groups– Parent-Led, age specific  curriculum based play groups.
